Fly High

Be Positive! Your attitude determines how high--or how low--you fly. And the best part? You’re the pilot!
"Good day, passengers, this is your Mind speaking. Today, we’ll be cruising at a steady altitude. Below to your left, you’ll see the challenges we’re avoiding, and up ahead, you can see clear skies. Have a great flight!"
A positive attitude isn’t just a feel-good cliché; it’s a superpower that influences every aspect of life. It fuels resilience, strengthens relationships, and makes even the toughest challenges feel a little lighter. With the right mindset, you’re more likely to succeed, inspire others, and maybe even enjoy the journey along the way.
Bill: Back when I was kicking for the Pittsburgh Steelers, I always knew the ball was going over the post. Positivity made that belief stronger, and let’s be honest—it was way more fun than doubting myself! A good kick meant I was happy, the team was happy, the fans were happy… maybe even the ball was happy. “See the ball. Kick the ball. Be the ball.” 😊
FYI, if you hold a camera in one hand and some bread in the other hand over your head, in a few moments you will get lots of in-your-face feathered friends as shown in the image above. Watch the birdie! This “flyby” was on Hilton Head Beach.
Sheri: When we perform, my hands fly over the keys as we sing for smiling audiences. My love for music and the positive mindset that this love creates helps make an amazing, shared experience—one that reminds me why music is my happy place.
So, where will your attitude take you today? A positive outlook won’t change the wind, but it sure helps you navigate the skies. Choose to fly high and enjoy the ride! ✈️😊
Positively speaking, Sheri & Bill
