As Long As You Live...

"As long as you live, keep learning how to live." (Seneca)
The quote from the ancient Stoic philosopher Seneca captures the essence of lifelong growth and self-discovery. Life is a continuous journey of learning, not just about external skills or knowledge, but about the art of living well. There is always room to grow, adapt, and refine our understanding of what it means to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Bill: I learned a new recipe: Adding a splash of color to an image increases visual interest. Adding a smidgen of salt to soup arouses appetite. Adding a bucket of humor to a story engages the audience. Adding music to a movie stimulates emotion. Color, salt, humor and music, shake or stir gently and serve whenever the need arises. Results may vary.
Sheri: Every experience—good, bad, or what just happened?!—teaches us something. We grow, adapt, and sometimes laugh at ourselves along the way (some of life’s best lessons come from our most embarrassing moments 😊).
Bill: FYI: I took this shot in Arizona. Our GPS said we were on our way to Oatman. Rumor has it, there used to be “gold in them thar hills”. We found none. Learn something every day.
Sheri: No gold, but we did find that restaurant with money stapled to all walls and to the ceiling....riches were just out of reach!
Learning how to live encompasses more than just surviving or achieving material success; it is about cultivating virtues such as patience, gratitude, and resilience. It involves understanding how to navigate challenges with grace, find joy in the small moments, and foster connections with others. Let’s approach each day open to the lessons life offers and never stop striving to live better!
