The Garden of Us

In the "garden of us" - that is our garden of relationships - we are blessed with friends that pop up occasionally to friends that bloom and grow forever. The real magic is in the mix. Have you thought about the mix in your garden? Here are some possibilities:
You’ve got your Sunflowers, who turn toward the light no matter what. These are your cheerleaders, your “we’ve got this” people. Call them on a cloudy day, and somehow the forecast changes.
Then there are the Roses. Deep, passionate, and yes, occasionally a little prickly. They love big, feel deeply.
Sheri: And what about Daisies? They are the drop-by-with-coffee kind of friends. No fuss, no frills, just simple joy that shows up right on time. Life never feels lonely with some daisies in your garden!
And every garden needs a little Lavender. With calm, steady presence, this is the friend who listens more than they talk, and somehow knows exactly what to say when life gets loud.
Bill: I'm partial to Tulips. They are adaptable souls who can bloom just about anywhere. They roll with life’s changes and still show up smiling. Smiling is a key ingredient to positive living!
Here’s the truth: not every friend blooms year-round. Most pop up seasonally while a few are lifetime buddies you see all the time. Both matter.
Look around your garden, notice who’s blooming and appreciate them. Water them. Thank them...and grow alongside them. In the garden of us, everything meaningful is grown, tended, and appreciated in its own season.
