Swimming pools will soon open for sunbathers and cannon ballers. Lake life wakens boat captains and first mates who water ski and pull yet another eager dope on a rope.
The sun will shine hot, and there will be “water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.” And often, in the heat and excitement of the moment, you may not even hear your body telling you that you need more fluids.
Sheri: Our grandson, TJ, playing Mr. Helpful, decided it was his job to take care of Papa Bill's hydration, and in his own way replace his bodily fluids.
Bill: I appreciated his help on such a hot day at the pool, since I forgot to bring my own bucket.
Healthy water content for adult women varies between 45% and 60%, and for men, it’s between 50% and 65%. Statistically, as you may have guessed, some of us are more full of it than others.
So, if you know what’s good for you, “drink early and drink often” and have fun doing it!
Positively Speaking, “Sheri & Bill...Story Tellers in Word, Image and Song.”
