Whether it leads you to sunlit waves, a brand-new adventure, or just a well-earned nap in the sand, it’s proof that the journey can be just as meaningful as the destination.
Sheri: I’ve walked many boardwalks, but each one feels like a new chapter. They don’t ask where you’ve been, they only encourage you to keep moving, step by step, ideally barefoot, with a smile, and a good hat. And don’t forget sunscreen – it’s hard to live fully with a sunburn.
Bill: I agree. The best memories aren’t usually the ones where everything went according to plan. They're the spontaneous side trips, the unexpected laughs, the slightly-too-long beach walks that left your legs sore but your soul happy. The ridiculous inside jokes that came from trying something new. That’s living. That’s the good stuff.
Living fully doesn’t mean every second has to be profound. It means paying attention. It means putting your phone down long enough to feel the breeze, sharing a story, and maybe get a little sand between your toes. It means noticing the beauty in simple things: a wave rolling in, a laugh at just the right time, or a quiet moment of peace.
Whether it’s a literal boardwalk to the ocean or a metaphorical step toward a dream, life is calling . Step onto the path in front of you. Let the breeze hit your face. Don’t overthink it, just go. Walk forward with intention, gratitude, and joy. The tide won’t wait forever.
