Sundae On Sunday

Bill: Strolling hand in hand on a warm Sunday in Spring at Gibbs Gardens, we came upon vivid colors, cool forgiving shade and reflective water topped by a curvy foot bridge for dessert. My photographer’s eye saw It as a visual “Sundae on Sunday.” However, not looking at my feet; I tripped and hurt my hip, sending me painfully limping to the doctor...ouch!

Sheri: Bill’s ok now, and we have since then framed and hung this bittersweet artwork on our living room wall. Now every time we see it, we see two stories: a beautiful landscape that draws us into calm serenity and a picturesque spot that once sent us hightailing to the doctor.

Bill: Most often I choose to see the pretty picture, but I do give the picture a slight acknowledging nod…I am still deciding whether this was too a high price to pay for a “sundae” afternoon!
