This image shows the talent of our good friend Rob Kuhlman, professional teacher, musician, song writer and producer at Root Cellar Music Studio, taking a complex musical passage, and breaking it down into simple beautiful, rhythmic, and harmonic gestures.

Skillful simple thinking is the ability to break complex things down to a concise and valid reality. It’s hard to do well. A poignant poem seemingly comes from just 26 letters. And an eye-catching photo isn’t just being at the right place at the right time—it requires some planning and positioning around lighting, background, focus as well as the timing.

Sort of what we try to do: write in a simple and effective manner, based on a complex mix of personal experience, words, and imagery (and sometimes music!), to share with you some positive, informative, entertaining happy dust. So how are we doing?  😊

Positively speaking, Sheri & Bill, Storytellers in Word, Image and Song

P.S. Happy birthday, Rob!
