Take The Shot!

Motivation of the day:  “Take the Shot”. 

In our continued quest to uncover favorite motivational sayings from folks around us, Austin Pearson, a Physical Therapist at Back In The Game provided us with a motivational quote that works for him:  

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” 

This quote, often attributed to famous hockey player Wayne Gretzky, expresses the sentiment shared by Austin and the team at Back in The Game who encourage and help hundreds of people (Bill: including me for which I am personally grateful) to take action, rehab and rejuvenate their lives.    

So, let’s put that quote into action: “Take The Shot!” 

Thanks for the inspiration, Austin! We paired  “Take the Shot” with the perfect image of Bill “taking the shot”  from behind the camera at Atlanta Botanical Garden.  

We’ll always miss a shot if we don't take it, and we will never know what we could have achieved if we had just taken the shot.

As photographers, we are always ready to take the shot to get those one-of-a-kind pictures. The more shots we take, the more likely we are to hit the target.  And we have been disappointed those few times we didn’t think to “take the shot,” turning into one of those "could-a, would-a, should-a" moments.

Don’t be afraid to take the shot...you never know what might happen. It’s all good!
