We woke to the start of a glorious April morning, looked out the window and of course our first thought was of our warm close personal friend Ralph Waldo Emerson.

With Easter behind us, we felt confident temperatures would no longer dip into the 30’s, so we headed out to purchase some flowering plants for the yard. We first checked all four of our thumbs. Unable to find any green ones, we realized we must fully depend on Mother Nature to consider how much we love and appreciate her flowers!

Sheri: The blossoming of flowers triggers the sense that something special is going to happen--and puts a smile on our faces from natural dopamine! Mix in a dash of serotonin (happiness hormone), and you have a recipe for laughter.    

Bill: Flowers also make good icebreakers and housewarming gifts.  Buying, gifting, and admiring blooms stimulate best wishes and good feeling. She loves me; she loves me not… Hmmm—maybe I should buy Sheri a few more flower bouquets this year.
