Wherever You Go...

We love a parade - the colors, the rhythm, and the way it instantly lifts our spirits. When the Mummers dance down the boardwalk, their sparkling outfits and playful music always create an atmosphere that’s completely, unapologetically alive. That’s the kind of presence Confucius was talking about when he said, “Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” Not just showing up, but showing up fully - with joy, authenticity, and a splash of brass-band energy.
Sheri: The image we captured that day reminded me that we don’t have to “be perfect” to bring joy. The Mummers play with total heart, not polish – and that’s what makes it magic. It’s a good reminder to stop holding back. If I’m going to show up in life - to write, to sing, to love - I want to do it every day with my whole heart.
Bill: Yep, it’s easy to spend so much time preparing for life that we forget to live it. These parade performers are totally in the moment - laughing, dancing, and sharing their positive energy. That’s what going with all your heart means to me: be fully in the moment.
Sheri: We stopped by and saw our young great grand this week, who came bounding across the room with a smile on his face and literally leaped into my arms. I think that qualifies as “going with heart” and living life to the fullest. The only thing I had to do was smile and brace for the landing!
Bill: I call that heart and horsepower. Back at the house, I went to the fridge with great purpose, full of heart and focus. I forgot what I was looking for, but hey, I showed up with passion. That’s gotta count for something, right?

Positive Reflections ...
“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” — Rumi
“Joy is not in things; it is in us.” — Richard Wagner

Music Moments …
Live fully, just as we are, with passion and joy!
“Brand New Day” – Sting There’s something about this song that feels like a call to wake up to your life and give it your best.
“Life Is a Highway” – Tom Cochrane This energetic anthem is about embracing the journey - every twist, turn, and open stretch of road. With a driving beat and lyrics that celebrate movement and momentum, it’s a perfect soundtrack for living boldly and heading wherever life calls.
“Don’t Stop” – Fleetwood Mac Hopeful and forward-looking, this classic tune is a reminder not to dwell on yesterday. Its upbeat rhythm and positive message encourage us to keep moving, keep dreaming, and face the future with optimism. A great anthem for walking happily and with purpose toward what’s next.
Positively speaking, Sheri & Bill
